I've resisted the urge to make anything other than very minor changes to my c#/KMotion_dotNet CNC controller app, because since I first developed it years ago, I've changed PCs several times, and went from XP to Win8.1, and lost the VS2008 DVD, etc.  Today I finally broke down and decided to jump back in the pool, and start in earnest on an all-new app.  I already had VS2013 Community installed, and, on a whim, decided to try importing and building the old app.  To my amazement, it imported, and had it building and running in minutes!  The only changes I had to make were a few paths in the project properties.  Overall, this was incredibly painless, after struggling to get the environment working when I wrote the first one.
